Our market relies on community investment.
As we move to grow the market, we face ongoing capacity and capital issues, while, concurrently, we’re working to make the market an engaging, wholistic, wellness space for our community. Our goal is to make fresh, local food available to our community in ways that are inclusive and welcoming of our diverse community family.
Through contributions from very generous donors in our community, including our sponsors, Dawn Hicks Realty and the Altadena Civilian Conservation Corps, we have been able to reintroduce our music and wellness programs, including the many cooking classes we’ve hosted over the past two months.
In order to continue these programs, and in order to fund basic market operations to keep the market here, we need continued community support. The market costs thousands of dollars to operate, monthly. Our vendor fees only cover a fraction of that, and can only be so much, as we work to make access to the market equitable for them, too. Please consider supporting the market through a donation, today.
